Valedictorian, Starkville High School
Brian Xu, 18, is a recent graduate and valedictorian of Starkville High School in Starkville, Mississippi. He played SHS basketball and tennis, won seven gold medals at MMTA state piano competitions, sang in the SHS Choir Ensemble/Madrigals and is involved in numerous community service clubs and the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group. Brian plans to attend Stanford University in Palo Alto, California this fall. Even though he is excited about starting a new life, he will miss the cozy little town of Starkville dearly and sincerely wishes good fortune to his fellow classmates and future graduates of Starkville High School.
