Brook S. Mason is a 20-year veteran journalist covering the art market, design and the business of art fairs in New York, Paris, London, Basel, Dubai and Moscow. She serves as U.S. Correspondent of The Art Newspaper, contributes regularly to the Financial Times and has served as the design columnist for artnet.com magazine since its inception. She has also written extensively on the auction world, collectors in the US, Europe, Russia, Asia and Latin America and pivotal architects and interior designers for Bloomberg, Art in America, Departures, Town & Country and Art + Auction. In addition, Mason is a contributing author of The International Art Markets: The Essential Guide for Collectors and Investors (Kogan Page, 2008) now in its second printing and with an edition in Chinese in production. She profiled Paris born, New York based architect Robert Couturier, acclaimed for his design of the 20,000 acre Mexico estate of the late financier Sir James Goldsmith in Designers on Designers (McGraw-Hill, 2004) also in its second printing.

She has lectured to private wealth management clients of JP Morgan, Bank of America and UBS along with upper level collectors of Chubb.
