Caragh Little is originally from Belfast, and now lives in Portrush, on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. She is Head of English at a large school in Coleraine, having previously worked in places as diverse as Metz and Enniskillen. She studied English and French at Oxford, far too long ago. She has written since her school days, and has had a variety of articles and pieces published; she has always said that she would like to be a writer when she grows up, so perhaps it’s time to do something more definite about that.
In her blog for The Huffington Post she will often write about her observations and musings on everyday occurrences, whether that’s life in Northern Ireland, the UK, Ireland or in the seaside holiday resort where she lives. She will probably also write a lot about things she is passionate about, such as education, books, music and good coffee. Often accused of being quite sarcastic, she is perhaps more comfortable with the definition of taking a sidelong, ironic look at things.
Throughout 2011-2012, Caragh Little has been a regular blogger for Oxford Today at https://www.oxfordtoday.ox.ac.uk/page.aspx?pid=761, although in many respects she does not see herself as a typical Oxford graduate or a typical Oxford Today blogger.
