Executive Director of New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets (NYCLASS). Carly Marie Knudson currently serves as the Executive Director of New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets (NYCLASS), a non-profit animal welfare and advocacy organization committed to improving the quality of life for residents and animals of the City of New York. Prior to her time at NYCLASS, Ms. Knudson was Chief of Staff for Colorado State Senator Gail Schwartz working on a legislative agenda focused on job creation and economic growth through renewable energy investment. Knudson has long been involved in advocacy efforts on issues ranging from immigration and civil rights issues to rural access to healthcare. Her work in public service began at a young age, volunteering for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Knudson received her MPA in Non-Profit Management & Policy Analysis from NYU Robert F. Wagner’s Graduate School of Public Service.
