Carne Ross is a former British diplomat who resigned over the Iraq war. His book "The Leaderless Revolution: How ordinary people will take power and change politics in the 21st century" was published in September in the UK by Simon & Schuster, and will be published in the US in March 2012 by the Blue Rider Press, an imprint of Penguin Books.
After his resignation, he founded and now runs the world’s first non-profit diplomatic advisory group, Independent Diplomat, which advises governments and political groups who are marginalized from the diplomatic processes about their futures (see more at www.independentdiplomat.org). Based in New York City, Carne writes about world affairs, politics, the arts and alternatives to the current status quo. See more at www.carneross.com; follow Carne on Twitter @carneross.
