Carol Muske-Dukes is a longtime blogger for the Huffington Post, having written for the HP for several years. She is Professor of English/Creative Writing at the University of Southern California and is former Poet Laureate of California as well as poetry columnist for the LA Times. Her awards include a Guggenheim Foundation fellowship & awards from The National Endowment for The Arts, P.E.N., Poets & Writers & others. Her new book of poems, Blue Rose, is forthcoming from Penguin in 2018. She is also a playwright - two of her plays have received staged readings in L.A., Manhattan and at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY.
