Cathy, Deloitte LLP’s Vice Chairman and Chief Talent Officer, is responsible for driving Deloitte's strategy to attract, develop and advance a highly skilled and increasingly diverse workforce. She is a foremost authority on talent strategies and transformational change to achieve extraordinary results. Previously, Cathy served as Deloitte Consulting LLP’s global e-business leader and subsequently led the high-technology industry sector as well as the organization’s award-winning Women's Initiative.

Cathy is author of several best-selling books including The Corporate Lattice: Achieving High Performance in the Changing World of Work (Harvard 2010), Mass Career Customization: Aligning the Workplace with Today's Nontraditional Workforce (Harvard 2007), and Connecting the Dots: Aligning Projects with Objectives in Unpredictable Times (Harvard 2003). Cathy’s byline and insights have appeared in such publications as the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Continental Magazine and online at CNBC.com and the Harvard Business Review.

Cathy has been named one of the "25 Most Influential Consultants" and a "Frontline Leader" by Consulting Magazine, and is the recipient of its inaugural "Leadership Achievement Award" for Women Leaders. She has also been cited by a number of prestigious organizations including the YWCA, Women in Technology International (WITI) and the San Francisco Business Times, who named her one of the “Most Influential Women in the Bay Area” for eight consecutive years.

Cathy serves on Deloitte’s executive committee. She is a member of Catalyst’s Western Advisory Council, and the Harvard Business School Alumni Board of Directors/NC. Benko received a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ramapo College, which recently recognized her with its Distinguished Citizenship award.
