Courtenay Strickland helps nonprofits achieve their missions through effective public policy advocacy, grant writing, and communications. Her primary areas of work include child welfare and civil rights and civil liberties. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Courtenay served as public policy director and chief lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida, where she worked to protect civil rights, freedom of speech, voting rights, religious liberty, reproductive freedom and more. In her free time, she has run four marathons on three continents and enjoys a good casino rueda salsa dance. Courtenay holds a BA in Latin American Studies from Yale University.
