Director of Product and Co-Founder at LifeSite, Crystal Lee is not only a Stanford graduate, a techie and an advocate for STEM education for women, but she is already a prolific presence in social media circles having earned a spot on the elite “Miss America 1 st Runner-Up” list at the age of 22. Crystal previously worked in business development for Google, coordinating outbound sales and strategic partnerships for G Suite. Prior to Google, she worked for Mailbox, an email client startup that was later acquired by DropBox. Born and raised in San Francisco, Crystal earned a bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a Master's degree in Media Studies, concentrating on Virtual Reality from Stanford University. After graduation, the Bay Area native earned the title of Miss California which sent her to Atlantic City for the Miss America pageant, where she finished second. Her platform issue for the competition was women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and she was one of only two contestants to receive a $5,000 STEM scholarship.
