Curtis Clark is the IBM global director for regional and local government focusing on emerging trends and strategies in the public sector. He is also responsible for the IBM Institute for Electronic Government in Washington, D.C. The Institute serves as a focal point for thought leadership around public policy issues, organizational and management practices and technologies that can enable public sector innovation. Prior to joining IBM in 1997, Clark spent more than 17 years with the state of North Carolina, where he held executive and legislative positions, including the deputy state controller for information resource management.
