Chief Global Digital Strategist, Burson-Marsteller

Dallas Lawrence is the Chief Global Digital Strategist for Burson-Marsteller, the world’s leading global public relations and communications firm. An industry veteran with extensive experience creating award winning integrated communications and public affairs programs, Dallas leads Burson-Marsteller’s worldwide digital team of more than 170 social and digital media strategists throughout the United States, Latin America, Asia, Europe, India and Africa.

Previously he served as the Vice President for Branding and New Media for the National Association of Manufacturers and served for more than four years as a member of President Bush’s communications team representing the Administration as the director of the Office of Community Relations and Public Liaison for the United States Department of Defense for Secretaries Rumsfeld and Gates. Prior to his Pentagon service, Dallas served as the Director of Regional Media Outreach and spokesperson for Ambassador L. Paul Bremer and the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq.

Dallas is a commissioned public affairs officer in the United States Navy (Reserve) and an adjunct instructor for the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication.
