D.C. Innes is associate professor of politics at The King’s College in New York City. He has published scholarly articles on the political philosophy of Francis Bacon in Interpretation, Piety and Humanity and Civil Religion in Political Thought. He has also published in The Washington Times and The City, and writes a weekly column at WORLDmag.com. He is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and lives on Long Island with his wife and four children.
