Deatra Riley is the financial education manager for CredAbility, a national nonprofit credit counseling and education organization based in Atlanta. She is certified as a credit, housing counselor and a financial educator through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.

Riley also conducts seminars for unemployed and homeless residents, serves as a chairman for the Georgia Default Prevention Task Force and Program Advisory Committee member with Westwood College. She has been a business professor for the University of Phoenix since 2005.

Riley holds a degree in business administration from Paine College, a master’s degree in business administration from Shorter University and a doctorate of business administration from Argosy University.
