Hi, I'm Derek. I am the Youth Sports Director at the Walnut Creek YMCA. I will be blogging about the opportunities here for children to further their interests in sports as well as develop great character. I have worked in the YMCA since 2002 and have run the youth sports programs since 2009. I am involved in all kinds of youth-related services in our community, as helping kids along their path to success is my greatest passion at this point in my life. I hope to connect with some of you!
