Over the last decade Dex Torricke-Barton has crafted the voices of some of the world's most influential leaders and organizations. From 2008-10 he supported communications for the office of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. In 2011 he became Google's first executive speechwriter, where he worked closely with Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt. From 2012-2016 he led executive communications for Facebook and served as speechwriter to Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. After leading communications for SpaceX in 2016, Dex left to build a new grassroots organization, Onwards (www.onwards.world), aimed at addressing the social and economic causes of growing political polarization in the United States.
