Don Gold is the author of eight books, including "Bellevue," a factual portrait of life within that iconic Manhattan hospital. He's taught journalism at Columbia College in Chicago. He's also written many articles/reviews for national magazines and served as managing editor of several, including Holiday, Travel & Leisure and Playboy. He spent five years heading the literary department of the William Morris Agency in New York. Currently, he resides in Evanston, IL.
