Attorney General Doug Chin began his tenure in office in 2015 after being appointed by Governor David Ige and unanimously confirmed by the Hawaii State Senate. A prosecutor for 15 years, Attorney General Chin also served as the managing director for the City and County of Honolulu and as the managing partner for the largest law firm in Honolulu, Carlsmith Ball.
