Launched EW Strategies LLC in July 2017 after leading a national transportation labor organization, TTD, AFL-CIO, for more than two decades. EW Strategies LLC assists clients in advancing their policy agenda, devising bargaining, positioning and messaging strategies, finding solutions to organizational challenges and developing effective responses to the changing nature of work across America in every sector of the economy. Substantial public speaking experience before diverse audiences - from labor, industry, nonprofit, academic and international conferences to congressional committees and executive branch and independent agencies. Significant experience as a spokesperson in the news media and an opinion writer and blogger in Politico, The Hill, Huffington Post, Medium and other platforms. Focused on getting strong outcomes for members and clients. Thought leader in the national conversations about job creation policies, the future of labor and employment, transportation and infrastructure, Public-Private Partnerships, autonomous transportation technology and artificial intelligence, and the national economy. Appointed in January 2017 as a Member, U.S. Department of Transportation’s Advisory Committee on Automation in Transportation. Board Chair of the innovative Jobs to Move America organization focused on fair and inclusive public procurement policy.
