Elana Berkowitz

Elana is currently a dual degree candidate at Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government where she is a Zuckerman fellow. Prior to her return to the student life, Elana worked at the Center for American Progress, serving as strategic initiatives manager and launching and editing CampusProgress.org. She is also a freelance writer whose work has appeared on NPR and in Salon.com, The New York Times, Time Out New York, Nylon and The New Republic. She's worked with McKinsey's public sector consulting team. Elana was chair of the Coordinating Council of Downtown for Democracy, an innovative PAC based in New York City, during the 2004 election cycle. She enjoys turkey bacon and has never learned how to drive.
