Jeremy Symons is Senior Advisor to EDF Action and Associate Vice President for Climate Political Affairs at Environmental Defense Fund. Jeremy focuses on advancing practical policies and strategies in the United States to tackle climate change and accelerate clean energy solutions. Previously, he served as Deputy Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Before that, as Senior Vice President at the National Wildlife Federation, Jeremy was responsible for overall leadership in planning and implementing the organization’s climate, wildlife and education programs throughout the country. He has also worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Jeremy has a Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University. He lives in Virginia.
