Emily Werth is a staff attorney and Skadden Fellow at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law in the Housing Justice Unit. She engages in legal and policy advocacy to ensure that local governments throughout Illinois preserve and expand the supply of affordable rental housing and promote fair housing choice. Emily is a 2011 graduate of Harvard Law School. In law school Emily participated in the Tenant Advocacy Project, representing tenants of and applicants to public and subsidized housing programs throughout the greater Boston area, and served as the Co-Chair of that organization.
