Author of photography books who hides behind her camera lens when she needs to escape the rest of the world
Heather Hummel embraces two careers--one as an author and one as a photographer. She has never drank a cup of coffee, but has driven cross country 10 times. She is an author who writes with a feather and a photographer who spreads pixel dust. Her recent titles include MASTER LOW LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY (Amherst Media, 2016) and PHOTOGRAPHING WATER (Amherst Media, 2016).
Television, print, and radio coverage for her books include: "The Today Show"; Publishers Weekly, USA Today and the Washington Post; and magazines that include: Health, Body & Soul, First and Spry Living, a combined circulation of nearly 30 million in print alone.
Her photography has been represented by Agora Gallery in the Chelsea District of New York City and on display in Charlottesville, VA and Glenwood Springs, CO.
A graduate with High Distinction from the University of Virginia, Heather holds a BIS degree with concentrations in English and Secondary Education. Visit http://www.HeatherHummelPhotography.com and http://www.HeatherHummelAuthor.com
