Heidi Sinclair is a 30-year communications and marketing veteran who served as the first Chief Communications Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, served as CEO for Burson-Marsteller EMEA with oversight for over 60 operations across the region. Heidi has independently advised clients as diverse as Richemont, Intellectual Ventures, Microsoft and Will & Jada Pinkett Smith on leadership, communications and philanthropy.
During Heidi’s stint as an executive at talent agency International Creative Management, she ran its corporate, digital, gaming, celebrity estates and investment transaction businesses then left to pioneer the branded content space for two start-up ventures.
Heidi founded two companies in the media and communications space, the first at age 23. Today, she is on the board of venture-backed consumer companies and frequently writes and talks about innovation and the future of media, as a regular commentator and contributor for CNBC, CNN and Fortune, Techonomy and in her blog for the Huffington Post. She is also an award-winning poet. Heidi graduated from Stanford University. After living in many parts of the world, she has returned to live in her native Seattle.
