Hillary has spent 20 years bringing major consumer products to market and building consumer brands. She started her career in advertising, and then quickly made the leap to technology marketing at Microsoft. Her interest in consumer brands eventually led her to senior marketing and channel management positions at Netscape, Shutterfly and Yahoo! where she met Foodily co-founder Andrea Cutright.
Hillary developed her love of cooking from her mother, who whipped up amazing gourmet dishes as well as wonderful comfort food. However, it wasn’t until she had kids of her own-- one who will eat absolutely everything and another who eats just about nothing-- that Hillary realized meal preparation could be a daunting task. In that spirit, she focused on applying her technology experience toward creating a user-friendly recipe search engine that emphasizes good taste and health: Foodily.
