A family man off the track, James Buescher is known for his take no prisoners attitude on the race track. From the time he was 12 years old, Buescher was winning races and championships in his home state of Texas. In the last 11 years, not much has changed, culminating with Buescher capturing the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship in 2012.
In 2013, Buescher once again returned to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Rheem Manufacturing Company adorns the sides of the Turner Scott Motorsports No. 31 as Buescher chases to become the series’ first repeat champion.
When Buescher is away from the race track, he enjoys hunting, golfing, bike riding and spending time with family, friends and his four dogs, Champ, Prince, Sandy and Tino. In January 2012, Buescher married his longtime girlfriend Kris Turner in a ceremony in Costa Rica. They make their home in Katy, Texas.
