James Clark Community Organizer

James Clark is a the Southern California Regional Coordinator of the YES on 34 Campaign to replace California's death penalty with life in prison with no possibility of parole. Since 2010, he has served as the Coordinator of the Los Angeles County Coalition for Death Penalty Alternatives. A Los Angeles Native, James earned his undergraduate degree in the Study of Religion from UCLA before earning his M.Div. at Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA. James worked as the Coordinator of Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, a nonprofit organization working to end capital punishment in Georgia, where he advocated to stop the execution of Troy Davis.
