Former Special Agent, Immigration and Customs Enforcement; Speaker for Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP)

Jamie Haase is a former special agent of the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He’s investigated and prosecuted crimes including human trafficking, narcotics smuggling, and money laundering. Prior to serving as a special agent, he worked as a Customs and Border Protection Officer where his primary responsibilities included reviewing manifests, targeting shipments, and inspecting foreign arriving vessels and cargo. He’s been involved in multiple narcotics seizures, and in 2009 he was assigned to a taskforce along the southwest border in Laredo, Texas, where assisted in the interdiction of money and guns being smuggled from the United States into Mexico. He is now a speaker with Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP), a group of law enforcement officials opposed to the war on drugs.
