Besides being founder and director of Offramp Gallery from 2008-2016, Jane has been an artist, writer, and/or editor for most of her adult life. A former painter and museum registrar, Jane left Los Angeles for New York City in 1998 to pursue a career in journalism. She was editorial director of CultureFinder.com (an original AOL greenhouse project) and did freelance writing on the side. She returned to the Los Angeles area and opened Offramp Gallery in 2008. The gallery closed in 2016. She is now directing her energies toward making digital art and writing this blog.
