Jennifer Harvey is Associate Professor of Religion at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and an ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches (U.S.A.). Her forthcoming book, Dear White Christians: For Those Still Longing for Racial Reconciliation will be out in November of this year. She is also the author of "Whiteness and Morality: Pursuing Racial Justice through Reparations and Sovereignty," co-editor of "Disrupting White Supremacy from Within: White People on What We Need to Do" and has published numerous articles. Her writing explores the ways in which social structures shape who we are and how we can transform ourselves into people who create more just, compassionate social structures.
