Jason Cianciotto is the Vice President of Policy, Advocacy, and Communications at Harlem United. Jason has been advocating for the health, safety, and well-being of LGBT people and populations affected by HIV and AIDS for nearly two decades. Prior to serving at Harlem United, he was the Director of Public Affairs and Policy at Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC). He also served at the national level as Research Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute and at the state level as Executive Director of Wingspan, Southern Arizona's LGBT community center. Jason earned a B.A. in political science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arizona. He is co-author with Sean Cahill of the award-winning book, LGBT Youth in America's Schools, published by the University of Michigan press.
