Jodi Gibson is the divisional vice president of jcp cares at jcpenney. jcp cares is the company’s corporate social responsibility platform focusing on the after-school issue, community relations and our environment. She is also the president of the jcpenney Afterschool fund, an independent nonprofit organization founded by the company dedicated to providing children in need with access to life-enriching after-school programs across the country.
She joined jcpenney in 2007 and brought with her more than 20 years of community service experience through her work in the nonprofit sector. She worked on critical national issues facing our communities such as domestic hunger relief, HIV/AIDS and violence against women. She is passionate about the idea that everyone plays a role in building healthy communities, and she has spent most of her career creating strategic partnerships between corporations and charitable organizations.
She enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends and giving back to the community by volunteering for the Executive Advisory Board of North Texas FIRST.
