John Fairfield is founder of theWayOfTheHealer.org, and is a program fellow at Eastern Mennonite University's Center for Interfaith Engagement.
John co-founded Rosetta Stone with his brother-in-law Allen Stoltzfus, and until his retirement in 2006 was VP of Research and Development. He was professor of Computer Science at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, teaching there for nearly 20 years. He has lived in Canada, Germany, Belgium, France and the United States, and served under Mennonite Central Committee in Congo (Kinshasa) in the early 70s, and in Nepal in the late '90s. His Ph.D. in Computer Science is from Duke University, 1981.
John and his wife Kathryn raised four sons in Bridgewater Virginia, where they enjoy eight grandchildren and four grandnephews.
