Jonathan Haidt is the Henry Kaufman Visiting Professor in the Business and Society Program Area at New York University Stern School of Business and a social psychologist at the University of Virginia.

Haidt was a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia for 16 years. He was also the Laurance S. Rockefeller Distinguished Visiting Professor at Princeton University from 2006 to 2007.

Haidt is the author of the books The Happiness Hypothesis and The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion. He was the 2001 winner of the Templeton Prize in Positive Psychology and a 2004 winner of the Virginia Outstanding Faculty Award.
