Karen Kaplan is President and CEO of Hill Holliday, the 14th largest advertising agency in the US. Ms. Kaplan joined the firm in 1982 as receptionist. Her firm’s impressive list of premier clients includes Bank of America, Cadillac, Capella University, Cigna, Chili’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Johnson & Johnson, John Hancock, Liberty Mutual, Major League Baseball, Merrell, Novartis, (RED), Smucker’s, Supercuts, TJX, and Verizon Wireless. In recognition of her career achievements, Karen was named by Business Insider as one of the 30 Most Powerful Women In Advertising, one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Advertising by Advertising Age, and was previously selected by the publication as one of its “Women to Watch.” Karen currently serves as Chairman of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and is a past President of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum.
