Kelly Mitchell is The Wine Siren.
After living in Hawaii since a teen, she took the plunge after almost four decades to realize her dream of a life in wine country. Now residing in Napa, she is on a mission: To share and demystify the complex processes in making world class food and wine and the people behind them. From the stove to the table, farming, pairing, pouring and creating world class experiences. It’s her passion to cover every aspect of this phenomenal process and break it down for all to understand and appreciate.
Her favorite tastes? Chateau Margaux 1965, a glass of Louis Roederer champagne, and foie gras as prepared by Napa’s 1313 Main Street. She relishes a good bottle of wine and has become indiscriminate about the grape but more intrigued by the quality of the nectar. She explores scores of wine varietals across the globe.
This expert interviewer (with over 400 interviews under her belt) has successful launches of start-ups in five different industries. Challenges are a key motivator for her, curiosity an integral part of her psyche. In her words: “I’ve acquired an algorithm from NASA, created a sexy studio for web development and post-production work, took three companies to multi-million dollar revenue levels, ranked in the top 3% of a national real estate brand, completed a marathon, placed 3rd in a triathlon, and now my passion project, The Wine Siren .”
You can find her wine & food adventures on TheWineSiren.com, on Instagram @KellyMitchell. She been named to "Inman’s 100 Most Influential" list for both 2013 and 2014 and was named 8th in the social media segment of The Swanepoel 200 "Most Powerful People in Real Estate".
