Microsurgeon, climber and expedition doctor

Kenneth Kamler, M.D., is a microsurgeon trained at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center who practices surgery of the hand in New York. He also practices extreme medicine in some of the most remote regions on Earth. Dr. Kamler has been on six expeditions to Mount Everest as expedition doctor and climber, while also partaking in diverse expeditions from the Amazon to the Antarctic Ice. He is the author of Surviving the Extremes: A Doctor's Journey to the Limits of Human Endurance.
