Fashion designer, Kimberly Ovitz is the CEO and Creative Director of her eponymous womenswear label known for its minimal aesthetic and modern sophistication. Kimberly Ovitz’s creations have made her a prominent player across the sartorial world.
Most recently, Ovitz debuted her Fall 2013 collection at New York Fashion Week where she featured 26 looks inspired by natural defense mechanisms as seen in animals and insects. The designer’s signature monochromatic color palette popped as bright blues and purples interjected in radial prints and powerful silhouettes on models. With armor-like jackets, dresses and tailored accessories from her first jewelry line, the runway came to life before a front row audience including Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and designers Tory Burch and J. Crew's Jenna Lyons. The collection marked Ovitz’s fourth show since first breaking into the fashion scene.
As a contemporary designer, Ovitz embraces simplicity with classic, timeless pieces that speak to an uninhibited and enigmatic woman. Her designs are effortlessly elegant and made for women who possess a certain inner confidence and appreciate the form of Ovitz’s empowering shapes. With a growing following across fashion arbiters and notable celebrities, Ovitz’s multidimensional label has an international quality that appeals to the fast-paced fashion world.
