Kristina Anderson has been actively involved in campus safety and education issues since becoming an injured survivor of the Virginia Tech tragedy. Shot three times in the worst school shooting committed by a single person in U.S. history, Kristina co-founded LiveSafe, a smartphone application to build the world’s first social safety network and empower individuals.

Kristina is also the Founder of the non-profit Koshka Foundation for Safe Schools. Sharing her lessons learned as a survivor with law enforcement, universities and the public, Kristina has given presentations throughout the U.S. and internationally to share her story and promote solutions for a safer future.
