Kyla Pigoni is a junior journalism major at Ithaca College in upstate New York. She currently writes for the local weekly newspaper, the Ithaca Times, and serves as an editor for the campus publication 360 Magazine. Despite her mother’s fear that Kyla is serious about living in a cardboard box if it means following her passion, she is pursuing this career in order to hear as many stories about as many people as possible.
