Veteran Army Officer, Former DoD Appointee, Truman Security Fellow, Berkeley-Haas MBA
Lach R. Litwer is an energy entrepreneur and veteran US Army civil affairs officer. He is Founder and CEO of Pasipiko Power, an energy storage developer focusing on ASEAN and Latin American markets. He served previously as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force on energy policy and security. His work there included developing public private partnerships around energy surety initiatives. In 2010, Mr. Litwer contributed key analysis for Secretary of Defense Gates' Comprehensive Review Work Group examining the potential repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Prior to joining the Obama Administration, Mr. Litwer was assigned as Joint Forces Team Chief in the legislative liaison office for the Chief of the National Guard in Washington, DC. Mr. Litwer is a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserves. In 2005 he deployed for emergency operations in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to the 9th Ward of New Orleans where he led numerous humanitarian operations. He later deployed to Kandahar and Uruzgan provinces of Afghanistan as an Embedded Training Team Leader from 2006-2007 under Operation Enduring Freedom. Additionally, Mr. Litwer has extensive political campaign management experience through serving on President Obama, Senator Clinton, and Senator Wyden's campaign teams. Mr. Litwer holds an MBA from the Berkeley-Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon.
