Laura Collins Lyster-Mensh, M.S. is a consultant, podcaster, writer and activist living in Virginia.
She is the author of >The Specific Scent of Snakes, >The Auldton Laughing Club, Eating With Your Anorexic, and >Throwing Starfish Across the Sea.< (with co-author Charlotte Bevan).
Her work has appeared in Skirt!, Adoptive Parenting, the Red River Review, The Potomac Review and for many years as a columnist at the Fauquier Times-Democrat in her “Soap Box” column. Laura has been interviewed by The Washington Post, The New York Times, NPR, and the BBC, among others.
