Laurie David is a global warming activist and a producer of the Oscar winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth. She is also the co-author of a new book Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming by Scholastic Press.

Kelly Chapman Meyer is environmental activist, began as a member of the NRDC Action Forum, where she lobbies for environmental legislation. Kelly is currently a Co-Chair of the NRDC Leadership Council, Los Angeles and a member of the NRDC Global Leadership Council. She is a board member of Heal the Bay and worked to help pass the Environmental Education Initiative which provides environmental education for all children in the state of California, K – 12. She most recently built a LEED Platinum home in Venice that will be used to educate the public on Green building and raise money for environmental causes.

As co-founder of the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Entertainment Industry foundation, she has helped to raise over $25 million for women’s cancer research. She and her co-founders received Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year Award in 2004.

A strong supporter of the public school system, she was president of the PTA at Point Dume Marine Science School in Malibu, where she resides. A true outdoorswomen, she is an avid surfer, stand up paddler, yoga devotee, tri-athlete and hiker. She is the mother of two, Carson and Eli, and wife of Ron Meyer, COO of Universal/NBC.
