Leila Ardehali is an 18-year old senior at Brentwood School and will be attending Barnard College of Columbia University in the fall of 2014. She was on the executive committee for the first “It’s Our Turn: Young Women's Conference at Brentwood” and has been instrumental in the planning of the 2014 conference. She will be delivering the opening remarks. In addition, she is on the editorial advisory board of Shimmerteen (a new website for teenage girls), volunteers at the Surgical Waiting Area at UCLA, and is the co-founder of Girl to Girl, a community service group helping women in shelters. She is also on the Varsity Tennis team and an editor of the yearbook. In the future, she plans on pursuing her love for health and wellness while continuing her passion to empower young women.
