Lesley Jane Seymour was named editor-in-chief of More in January of 2008, where she led the magazine to a 2009 National Magazine Award nomination for personal service for an investigative piece and to a nomination for General Excellence in 2010. Under her guidance, the brand published its first book, More Magazine’s 287 Secrets of Reinventing Your Life: Big and Small Ways to Embrace New Possibilities, was named to Adweek’s “Hot List” in 2010 and dubbed “the Vanity Fair for Women” by marketers. Seymour was also ranked 4th on Forbes’ Most Powerful Fashion Magazine Editors list in 2009. Seymour has held various positions at iconic women’s lifestyle titles, including Marie Claire, Redbook, YM, Glamour and Vogue.
