Liena Vayzman is Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at Wesleyan University. She earned the PhD in History of Art at Yale University, completing a dissertation on the French Surrealist photographer and activist Claude Cahun. Liena Vayzman writes on the intersections of visual culture and global justice for Art Practical, X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly, Daily Serving, and other publications. Dr. Vayzman was the 2010-12 Gender Equity and Policy Postdoctoral Associate with the Yale Women Faculty Forum.
