Lisa J. Laplante Visiting Asst. Prof., Marquette Law School

Lisa J. Laplante is Deputy Director of Praxis Institute for Social Justice, and oversees the trial monitoring project of the Fujimori case, which includes the blog She currently is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Marquette University School of Law where she teaches international law, human rights and transitional justice. Laplante has published extensively on the Peruvian transitional justice experience, based in part on her six years of field research, and frequently presents at national and national conferences on the topic. She has over ten years of experience as a human rights lawyers, and was selected in 2007 to be a member at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton.
