Liz is an environmental and health speaker residing in Toronto, Ontario.
Graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) health issues sidelined her career plans to work in the health care industry. After 10 years in the corporate world, and greatly improved health, Liz decided to pursue her environmental passions and founded Enviro-Health Presentations. For five years she’s been immersed in the ‘world of green’. Although she loves living in the biggest city in Canada, Liz has plenty of rural roots having grown up on an organic farm.
Liz’s passion is encouraging kids and adults to live a healthy, eco-fabulous lifestyle. Her personal motto is "Be the Change. Doing something is better than doing nothing at all". Great words to live by because doing something is easy and "some things" lead to "other things".
Her passion for climate change issues shines through her involvement as a group leader with Citizens Climate Lobby Canada. A volunteer-based, grassroots organization, which originated in the U.S. (citizensclimatelobby.org).
