Lorelei Christie

Lorelei Christie is a junior at Oakton High School in Northern Virginia. Fluent in French, Spanish, and English, she is fascinated with foreign languages and cultures. She tutors at and manages her school's writing center, where she has taken interest in actively countering the dehumanizing nature of many educational institutions. Lorelei also teaches and mentors young girls from at-risk neighborhoods in DC each weekend. Her interests include ballet, the counterculture of the 1960s, and international relations. She aspires to become a human rights lawyer.
