Macha Levinson was Director for Russia and Central Europe at the World Economic Forum from 1991 through 2006. For ten of those years she was also in charge of the energy sector. She ran many meetings in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, and was responsible for an annual economic summit for East and Central Europe in Salzburg until 2004. Previously she was Strategic Affairs Editor for the International Defense Review. She holds a BA from Harvard, MA from Columbia and doctorate from the Graduate Institute in Geneva where she lives and writes.
