MacKenzie Moritz serves as the Associate Director for Strategic Partnerships for the Franklin Project. After graduating from college, MacKenzie served as a 2006 Teach For America corps member where he taught 9th grade world history in southwest Philadelphia. He subsequently joined Teach For America’s recruitment team where he spent five years working to grow the scale and diversity of TFA’s corps in various roles, most recently as the managing director of Teach For America’s national recruitment strategy & technology team. He graduated with B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2006 and earned a M.Ed in Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. MacKenzie lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife Melissa.
